Pretty sure that

1) both football and basketball attendance continue to trend down (which may be somewhat independent of tv viewership)
2) the average age of people who care about #1 is increasing

The Golden Goose is getting cooked. The schools who resist huge capital improvement projects going forward in hopes of glory will be glad they did.
